Greensburg 7th grade volleyball from Sue Burkhart

The Greensburg Junior High School 7^th grade volleyball lost to East Central in 2 matches, 20-25, 21-25. The team was in the running, picking up several digs and tips in the first game. In the second game, the Lady Pirates were down by 10 points but rallied back. It was not enough to win the game. The team continues to work on communication and transition. Stats: Serving, Abby Porter 10/12 with 6 aces, Mallory Bruner, 7/9 with 3 aces. Setting: Sophie Buening and Peyzlee Ferdinand with 80%, Passing: Zoey Schaufert with 13/16, Spiking: Sophie Buening, 2, Zoey Shaufert and Alivia Bishop 1 each. Tipping: Sophie Buening 4/4. Good defense from Emma Burkhart, Maddie Condon, Mila Dehoff, and Lila Agee.
