From Coach Katina Tekulve
The Greensburg Junior High Cross Country teams both beat the East Central Trojans at home on Tuesday night. The Lady Pirates won 28 to 29 and the Gents won 23 to 34.
Leading the Girls team across the finish line was Runner Up Champion Madeline Risher with her best time on the home course. Four Lady Pirates earned spots in the top 7 across the line. Lulu Webb, Eleanor Davis and Makayla Keifer all joined Madeline in those front positions.

The boys individual race champion, Henry Corya, led the entire race with a new personal best home course time. It was a sea of blue behind Henry as 6 Pirates earned ribbons in the top 9 positions. Along with Henry, Jackson Tekulve, Oliver Corya, Christopher Walden, Kason Bedel, and Jack Bennett dominated the Trojans the entire race.
