Greensburg Lady Pirates Fall to East Central Trojans 11-0
The Trojans dominated the game against the Pirates. During the varsity match East Central took 28 shots against the Greensburg keepers. Keeper Madeline Shrader saw 18 shots while keeper Emma Hostetler saw 10 and East Central’s first point came with only two minutes off the clock.
The game would end with 20 minutes still on the clock giving the Pirates their fifth loss of the season and second loss in the conference. The Pirates are now 3-5 on the season and 0-2 in the conference.
After the varsity match the Lady Pirates Junior Varsity saw some action. East Central’s JV team was equally dominating. JV keeper Peyton Powers saw 25 shots in the only half played. She would hold strong and only allow 8 to reach the scoreboard. The JV team is 0-2 on the season.
Both teams are on the pitch again Thursday September 14 at home against Shelbyville. Game time is 5:30pm. Your Lady Pirates will also play on Saturday September 16 at 10am at home against Rushville. This is a double header; the boys will play at noon.
