Greensburg picked up their first EIAC win of the season defeating Connersville 4-1. Winning for the Pirates: #2 singles, Abigail Hoeing, 6-0 6-0; #3 singles, Mary Harmon 6-1 6-0, #1 doubles, Ella Chapman/Janae Comer 6-0 6-0, and #2 doubles Hailey Duerstock/Josie Nobbe 6-0 6-1. Jenna Foster lost a hard-fought match 4-6 1-6 at #1 singles. In JV action, Mya Comer was victorious at #1 singles, and both doubles teams, Morgan Cain and Caire Nobbe as well as Anne Pumphrey and Emma Kuntz were also winners. We played with a lot of confidence tonight and were very aggressive with our play. A lot of good things were going our way. We are now 2-0 on the season and travel to New Albany for an eight team tourney over the weekend.
