ND Volleyball went 2-0 for the week, getting us to a 8-5 record now! We started with a fun win against South Decatur (25-11, 24-26, 29-27, 25-23), earning us our first conference win and the Civil War Trophy. The South Decatur match proved the mental toughness we have as a team! We had an all around good performance from the team – with Eliza Kennelly letting nothing past her as the libero, picking up 26 digs. Miley Scudder, Lanee Rennekamp and Sarah Moeller all had double-doubles. Scudder led with her 22 kills and 22 digs. Moeller put away 17 kils and picked up 15 digs. Setter Lanee Rennekamp had 38 assists on the night plus 12 digs. Ellie Johnson stepped up on defense to grab 10 digs.
We then conquered Tri High in a quick 3 set match (25-12, 25-11, 25-12). Scudder was effective with her serves with 6 aces and her attacks with 14 kills. Eliza Kennelly picked up 14 digs and Lanee Rennekamp executed with 26 assists.
