The Chargers played their first match of the season Friday against the Rushville Lions on the Meadow course and North Branch. The Chargers came away with the win 185-197. Cooper Parmer was the meet medalist with a score of 42. Owen Eldridge (44), Aiden Luttel (47) and Micah Smith (52) rounded out the top 4 for the varsity, and Mason Morris ended the night with a 62.
The Chargers JV won 201-231, led by Brayden Yeager, who was the JV medalist with a score of 45. Scott Morford shot a 49, Brady Mauer shot a 50, and Kobe Hoeing was the fourth score with a 57. Cooper Land shot a 64 on the night.
The Chargers Varsity will play again on Tuesday, April 15th, at Royal Hylands in a three-way match against Knightstown and Rushville.
