Scholle leads Pirates Cross Country Team, taking 1st place at Home Invitational

Greensburg Junior High competed in their home invitational, which featured teams from 28 schools. The girls’ team finished 12th, with the boys’ teams taking 16th. 

Maria Scholle once again led the Pirates, taking the individual girls’ championship with a winning time of 11:31. Hadley Davis also finished inside the top-10, taking 6th place in a new PR of 12:31. Also for the Pirates, Ava Doig ran a PR of 15:39, Hayden Saylor ran a new PR of 15:47, Isabelle Macku ran a PR of 17:16, Annalise Keller ran 18:00, Sarita Walker ran 19:05, and Violet Macku ran 19:38. 

Kason Bedel led the Pirates in the boys’ race, finishing in 54th place with a SB time of 12:28. Next was Miles Gill running a new PR of 13:08 to take 86th place. Also for the Pirates were Luke Harris running 13:52, Liam Hernandez running a PR of 13:50, Easton Character running 14:28, Collin Rich with 16:03, Konnor Luers with 15:41, Samuel Black running a PR of 16:57, Rylan Herpel running a 20:30 PR, and Preston Meadows running a PR of 20:44.
