Avis Ann Wiseman, 66, Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. She was born on August 5, 1957, in Greensburg as the daughter of Marion Lloyd and Lee Mae Wiseman. She was a lifelong resident of Decatur County.
Avis had an independent soul. She found joy in collecting various items and had an enduring love for cats.
Avis is survived by her siblings: Jerry Wiseman, Marilyn (Mike) Cole, John (Shirley) Wiseman, Peggy (David) Israel, David (Sharon) Wiseman, and Mary Jane. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Carol Wiseman.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 pm with Pastor Dennis Chasteen officiating. Burial will be held at Milford Cemetery.
