David Gray , 73, of St. Paul, passed away October 24, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Born May 9, 1953 in Greensburg, he was the son of Junior Gray and Esther (Green) Lay. He married Cathy (Tindall) Gray on November 2, 1974 and she survives.
Other survivors include 3 children- Carrie McQueen (Leroy) of Greensburg, David Gray Jr. (Heather)of Greensburg, John Gray of St. Paul; siblings Larry Gray of Westport, Cindy Swain (Jimmie) of Waldron, Mona Green of New Point, Tammy Ayers (Gary) of Kentucky, and brother in law Brad Ashley of St. Paul; six grandchildren Cody McQueen, Danny McQueen, Paige McQueen, Kelsi Connor, Carter Gray, and Allee Gray; and 1 great grandson William McQueen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Penny Ashley, grandparents, Elkana and Cordelia Green, and step father William Lay.
David was a lifetime resident of Decatur County and worked at Delta Faucet for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
A Celebration of Life will be Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 2:00-4:00 pm at Glenn E. George Funeral Home, 106 E. Franklin Street, Saint Paul. No funeral services will be observed.
