David L. Bell, 72, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday morning, July 29, 2021. David was born in Lafayette, Indiana on July 19, 1949, to Walter and Ivadean Bell. He lived and farmed for many years in Fountain County, Indiana where he met and married his wife, Kristy and raised two children, Richard and Julie. Recently he was a resident of Greensburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife. Among those left to cherish his memory are his son, Richard (Manuela) of Houston, Texas, his daughter, Julie (Mike) Barden of Victoria, Minnesota, his grandchildren, Emily and Katie, and his brother Reid (Rhonda) Bell and Family of Newtown, Indiana. Visitation will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, August 7, 2021. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home immediately afterwards. Rev. Ray Sweet will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
