Dorothy Mae Luers Norfleet, 88, of Greensburg, passed away July 5, 2026. She married William “Bill” Norfleet on May 3, 1956 and he preceded her in death on November 29, 1982.
Dorothy was bornon December 16, 1937, in Batesville, Indiana, the beloved daughter of John Fred Luers and Gladys Ann (Becker) Luers. She grew up in southeastern Indiana and attended Napoleon High School. Later in life, she proudly earned her GED.
Dorothy dedicated many years of her career to working as a bookkeeper for Hulls Truck Repair & Shirks International. She was a member of the Adams Lutheran Church, Batesville, Indiana.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Lisa Retherford; granddaughter, Jillian Bickel; great granddaughter, Arianna; great grandsons, Leighton and Liam; brothers, Charles (Carol) Luers, Thomas (Jan) Luers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Norfleet; her parents, John Fred Luers and Gladys Ann (Becker) Luers; sister, Margie Haas; and brother, Donald Luers.
