Frieda Nieman Meek, 89, of Greensburg passed away on September 26, 2023. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana the daughter of Fred and Rose Meyer Nieman. Frieda was a 1952 graduate of Greensburg High School. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church and P.E.O. On November 15, 1954 she married John Meek and together they had one son, John Kevin. Frieda worked at Union Bank and Trust.
Survivors include: Son, Kevin (Julie) Meek; Grandchildren, Casey (Justin) Green, Carley (Paul) Riehle, and Scott Meek; Great Grandchildren, Graeme, Hudson, and Sawyer Green and Quinn, Landon and Crew Riehle. Frieda was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Great-grandson John Thomas Meek; Brother, Norman Nieman and Sister, Dorothy Burch.
A Memorial Visitation for family and friends will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of the Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the donor’s choice.
