Karen K. Elliott, 72

Karen K. Elliott, 72 of Adams, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 1, 1949 in Greensburg, the daughter of Clarence Keith & Emma Pearl (Carter) Baugh. Karen was a lifelong resident of Decatur County and graduated from Jackson township High School in 1967.She retired from Bonn Aluminum. She enjoyed gardening, collecting Fenton glass, sewing, crafts and had love and affectual care for her son Bryan. Karen married Robert F. “Bob” Elliott on June 2, 1974 in Greensburg and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2013. She is survived by her daughters, Stacey (Mike) Garlitch of Westport, Ginny Elliott of Neotsu, Oregon and Cris Norman of Portland, Oregon; sons, Bobby Elliott of Portland, Oregan and Bryan Elliott of Adams; sister, Shirley Hooten of Columbus; brothers, Gene Baugh of Carmel and Steve Baugh of Versailles; sister in law, Connie Baugh of Plant City, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Shelley Bsugh. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Keith Dover officiating. Burial will follow at the Hebron Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are recommended.
