Kimberly Ann Richey, 42, of Greensburg, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at her residence. She was born on November 3, 1979 in Greensburg, the daughter of Merrill Creech and Marlene (Carpenter) Perkins. She had lived the majority of her life in Decatur County and was employed at Valeo in Seymour. She enjoyed watching Netflix and crocheting. She is survived by her mother, Marlene Perkins of Greensburg; her sons, Braydon Micheal Richey, Jonathan Michael Dwiggins, Daniel Richey, Jr. and Hunter Richey all of Greensburg; brothers, Pete Edwards and Ronald “J.R.” Edwards, Jr. both of Greensburg and Michael Creech of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, Merrill Creech and her uncle, Paul “Bug” Carpenter, Jr. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Following Kimberly’s wishes she will be cremated following visitation. We ask visitors to follow social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are recommended.
