Mary O. Ketcham Denlinger, 74, passed away on November 18, 2021. She was born on July 30, 1947 to Lester Lee and Mary Marie Ginder in Anderson, Indiana. She was a 1965 graduate of Spiceland High School and a 1995 graduate of Indiana Business College. Mary was the former department manager for Walmart and K-Mart and former ACRA Automotive Office Assistant. She also worked in healthcare and previously retired from Hill-Rom. She was a member of the Shelbyville Moose, The American Legion, The Eagles, and an Honorary Job’s Daughter. Mary had many hobbies, including Russian embroidery and quilting, reading, collecting angels and penguins, teaching dance lessons, and taking trips to Myrtle Beach. She loved sitting outside and listening to the birds and she loved spending time with her family most of all. She is survived by her husband, Edwin Denlinger; children, Stephanie (Bill) Ryle, Stacey (Ronnie) Tuley, Randy (Ashley) Ketcham, Kerry Dean Ketcham, and Jeffery (Teresa) Ketcham; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; siblings, Vivian Rosenberry Ginder and Mark (Pam) Ginder; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Mary Ginder; husband, Keith Ketcham; and her sons, Brian, Robin, and Ronald Ketcham. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Reverend Jon Porter will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
