Oral Lee Cooper, 86, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.
Born in Monticello, KY on December 23, 1934, he was the oldest son of Woodrow and Lula (Gregory) Cooper.
He married Naoma Arlena Wright on October 24, 1954 and she survives. He retired from Nelson Tree Service in 2005 after 45 years of service. He loved classic cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles and he owned several throughout his life.
He is survived by 4 children; Jerry (Patricia) Cooper, Debra (Michael) Hapner, Rebecca (Todd) Miller, Paula (Thomas) Davis, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren (one due in June), 4 brothers; Richard, Robert, David, and Jerry Lynn Cooper, several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Thomas Cooper, and one sister; Virginia Ruth Demetral.
Visitation will be at Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 10am – 12 noon following CDC guidelines for social distancing.
Funeral Services will start at 12 noon on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Amos Carmichael officiating.
Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery in Adams.
