Robert Dale Mozingo was born 1928 in Decatur County. He lived his entire
adult life in Decatur County. Dale was a farmer and a retiree from Bohn
Aluminum and Brass Company. In past years he enjoyed membership in the Ripley
County Saddle Club and Tree City Campers. Dale was a member of Worldwide
Church of God. Dale had a great sense of humor, loved travel, camping, and
playing Euchre and Sequence. He was hard to beat. His special love was for
his children, seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. His farm with
the golf cart trails in the woods were a joy to him. He was known to carry as
many as 7 great grandchildren on the golf cart at a time. Dale is survived
by his wife of 73 years, Sydna Ann Mozingo and children Gerald (Denise)
Mozingo of Brownsburg, IN, Twila (Sam) Reynolds of Indianapolis and Luella
Mozingo of Carthage, IN. Dale was proceeded in death by his parents, his
brothers Rollin and Melvin Mozingo and sister, Sharon Bockover. Sisters JoAnn
Bate of Greensburg and Linda (Russell) Wilson of Westport, IN survive.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Funeral services
will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior at
Bass and Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Joshua Creech
officiating. Interment will be at Union Baptist Cemetery in Greensburg.
