Robin E. Neal, 63, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:57 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born on October 31, 1958 in Greensburg, the son of Ivan Ellsworth and Judith May (Sweezy) Neal. He was raised in Westport. Robin enjoyed basketball, Colts games, wrestling, loved telling jokes, his grandbabies, King Kong and Godzilla movies. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy (Charles) Jackson of North Vernon; his father, Ivan Neal of Paris Crossing; his sisters, Debra Hewitt of Madison, Penny Hargesheimer of North Vernon, Melissa Neal (Randy Moore) of Seymour, Billie (Kevin) Moore of Butlerville, Bobbie (Steve) Kirby of North Vernon, and Samantha Neal of North Vernon; his brothers, Chad Neal, Johnny (Alyssa) Neal and Link Neal all of North Vernon; his grandchildren, Karissa (Alex) Robbins, Nathan Lucas, Serenity Lucas, Makensie Lucas, Makaela Lucas, Jeremy Long, Jasmin Jackson, Landon Jackson, Josiah Hamel all of North Vernon, Amber Leon of Columbus and Brayton Eder of North Vernon; his 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith May Neal, his sister, Tammy Lynn Neal and his nephews, Grant Neal, Matthew Brown and Josh Brown. The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with Pastor Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at the Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
