On 10/09/2024 at approximately 6:44 AM deputies responded to a report of an accident with injury in
the area of Southern Crossing. Upon deputies’ arrival they found two involved vehicles, one of which
was resting on its roof and the occupant was entrapped.
The driver of the inverted vehicle, Gerard Morin 68year-old of Columbus, was extracted from his vehicle and later flown by helicopter to Methodist hospital with serious injuries. The other driver, Bradley Dewees
49 year-old of Nashville, IN, was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital.
