Three arrests were made as a result of a JNET investigation into the dealing illegal narcotics from a
residence in the 700 block of 22 nd Street. A search warrant was executed on February 25 th , 2025 by
members of JNET, Columbus Police Department patrol officers and Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office
patrol deputies.
Here’s what is alleged –
Investigators located over 50 grams of methamphetamine, over $2,700 cash, marijuana, drug
paraphernalia, and other evidence of dealing narcotics in the home. Three firearms were also seized
inside the residence.
Timothy Perry, Michael Coffey, and Anna Arney were all located in the residence during the execution of
the search warrant and taken into custody.
Timothy Perry 63yo of Columbus, IN remains in custody on a 72 hour hold on the charges involving allegations of: dealing in methamphetamine a level 2 felony, possession of methamphetamine a level 3 felony, maintaining a common nuisance a level 6 felony, possession of marijuana a B misdemeanor, possession of paraphernalia a C misdemeanor.
Michael Coffey 35yo of Columbus, IN remains in custody on a 72 hour hold on the charges involving allegations of: possession of methamphetamine a level 6 felony and visiting a common nuisance an A misdemeanor.
Anna Arney remains in custody on a $3,500.00 bond on the charge involoving an allegation of visiting a common nuisance, an A misdemeanor.
The Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team, a combined unit of the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office, the
Columbus Police Department and the Bartholomew County Prosecutor’s Office, is proactively targeting
the manufacturing and abuse of dangerous drugs in Columbus and Bartholomew County.
This is a preliminary investigation. All persons are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
