Margaret Mary Health COVID-19 Update: 11.03.21
This week we are happy to report we have continued to see low COVID patient volumes. Both Ripley and Franklin counties experienced a decrease in the Covid 7-day positivity rate. The Ripley Co. status changed from orange to yellow with a Covid 7-day positivity rate of 6.96%. The Franklin Co. status also changed from orange to yellow with a 6.63% positivity rate.
Inpatient Care: We currently have 18 patients on our Med Surg floor, and 2 patients in our Special Care Unit. Only 4 of our patients are Covid+ (positive). Our overall percentage of admitted patients since August 1, 2021 who were unvaccinated continues to stay steady at around 84%.
Testing: Although testing for COVID-19 decreased from the previous week, our positivity rate increased, with 32 patients testing positive and a current positivity rate of 21.5%.
Vaccination: Vaccine appointments can be scheduled Monday – Friday at the MMH Occupational Health and Wellness Center in Batesville at 812.932.5105. Vaccine appointments can also be made Monday – Friday at the Margaret Mary Health Center in Brookville at 765.647.5126. Walk-ins are also welcome in Brookville.
