INDIANAPOLIS – Movie Nights at White River State Park will return this summer with five outdoor movies in the park hosted in partnership with Heartland Film. Movies will be screened every third Thursday of the month from May to September. This movie night series invites guests to spend an evening enjoying Indy’s Backyard and their favorite movies set against the Indy skyline.

White River State Park is excited to partner with Heartland Film on this summer movie series. This partnership brings 35 years of movie screening experience to the park and an updated movie viewing experience with the use of a 17x10ft LED screen.
“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with White River State Park on Movie Nights,” said Michael Ault, President of Heartland Film. “We love that Heartland Film’s mobile LED screen will be at the heart of Indy, showcasing movies to our community this summer.”
Movies will be screened in Celebration Plaza. Gates open at 6:30pm and movies start at 7:30pm. The following movies will be screened: The Incredibles on May 21, National Treasure on June 18, Shrek on July 16, Mamma Mia! on August 20, and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl on September 17.
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 for a family pass for up to 8 attendees. Tickets can be purchased online here. All tickets are general admission.
Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Guests can receive parking validations for the White River State Park parking garage while spaces last.
