DECATUR COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES RAJINDER P. SINGH, DO

Decatur County Memorial Hospital announces the addition of board-certified neurologist Rajinder P. Singh, DO, to the Outpatient Neurology Clinic team. Dr. Singh received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, completed his Internship at Providence Hospital, MI, Residency in Neurology at Loyola University Medical Center, IL, and his fellowship in Neurophysiology at Loyola University Medical Center, IL.

Before electing to specialize in neurology, Dr. Singh was fascinated by the brain and thought processes when he completed a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Philosophy and Theology at Elmhurst College. During his first medical rotation with a neurologist, his interests were further sparked by a remarkable experience to which he compared all other rotations.

Through these experiences, Dr. Singh recognized his passion to treat epilepsy-related disorders and those experiencing headaches and migraines, back and extremity pain, motor and sensory syndromes, dementia, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, stroke, neurovascular syndromes and more primarily in the Midwest.

When asked why Dr. Singh chose to join DCMH, Dr. Singh said, “I felt a strong connection since the first time my wife, three children and I visited Greensburg. Having a farm myself, growing up on a family farm, and now serving a farming community, I see our shared experiences and look forward to getting to know our community.”

Though DCMH has been providing neurology services to the community for many years, “The addition of Dr. Singh ensures that residents rarely need to travel long distances for specialized treatments. By keeping neurology services closer to home, we are providing convenient access to high-quality care, enhancing our community members’ overall health and well-being,” said Rex McKinney, CEO/President of DCMH.

Dr. Singh is accepting patients with a referral from your Family Medicine primary care provider. He is ready to serve the community at 731 N. Lincoln St., Greensburg. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Singh, call 812-663-1311.
