A single vehicle crash occurred in Greensburg on Wednesday morning. The driver had a medical episode and left the west side of SR 3. The vehicle went through a ditch, fence, bush and crashed into a portico of the back side of the HR Block building. The driver was unconscious and incidentally kept their foot on the accelerator. The tire kept spinning until it caught on fire. Officer arrived and pulled the driver from the van and extinguished the fire. The driver was transported by ambulance to the Decatur county Memorial Hospital where they ere treated for their injuries. The van was towed to the Police Department and secured until the delivery company could retrieve its contents due to being medications being delivered to local medical facilities.
