Larry D. Mozingo,68, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday October 18, 2024
at Ascension St. Vincent Jennings County. Larry was born on February 21, 1956
at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, Indiana. The son of Carl E.
& Birdie L. (Surface) Mozingo. He was a lifelong Jennings County resident and
graduated from Jennings County High School in 1974.He retired as a Plumber for
the Local Union 440 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He enjoyed flying kites, camping,
playing with his dogs & grand puppies, fishing, and serving Christmas Dinner at
the Ronald McDonald House. He married Denise Ann Willis on August 29, 1986 in
Vernon, Indiana. He is survived by his wife Denise Mozingo of North Vernon,
Daughter; Kristina (Ben) Mozingo-Fitzgerald of North Vernon, Sons; Chris
Robinson of North Vernon and Jon Robinson (Jen Chambers) of Indianapolis two
granddaughters: Caroline Robinson and Josephine Reid and a niece Bailey Mozingo.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and Brother David E. Mozingo.
Following Larry’s wishes he will be cremated with no services. A celebration of
life will be held at a later date. Bass & Gasper Funeral Home has been entrusted
with handling his arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy
