Road Construction on 421 South Leads to Detours

As construction has either already begun or will be starting shortly on 421 South in
Decatur County for bridge replacements and repair, here is a list of unofficial detours of
the area:
 County Road 600 South and County Road 700 East
 County Road 60 East and 300 South
 County Road 100 South and 200 East, and
 County Road 180 East and 300 South
Motorists are reminded that traffic on these county roads will significantly increase
during this construction period. The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department will be
monitoring traffic in these areas and we urge drivers to be aware of their speed as well as
oncoming traffic, which may include large truck traffic.
