Unfortunately, due to the forecasted weather conditions this weekend, the Greensburg Optimists will not be putting up the Avenue of Flags this weekend for Memorial Day. This decision was not made lightly, but out of concern for the safety of volunteers and to protect the flags from damage. 🇺🇸
Although the flags will not be displayed, we still want to come together as a community to honor and remember our heroes this Memorial Day.
Join the “Overpass Patriots” on Monday, Memorial Day, from 12–1 PM on the Moscow Road overpass. Bring a flag, wave to those passing below, and help us proudly show our patriotism and remembrance together. ❤️🤍💙
