Kevin Sebastian Kage Balser, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 26. He was born on November 9, 1999, in Batesville, IN to Tearinee and Thomas Balser.
Kevin will be remembered as a caring, loving, and funny young man whose presence brought warmth and laughter to those around him. He loved music and singing, and he enjoyed acting in plays and musicals, where his personality and energy could shine. He found joy in many activities, including tennis, bowling, ping pong, cornhole, baseball, and basketball. He was also an avid D&D player, a pastime that reflected both his imagination and his love of spending time with others. Through a desktop computer that he custom built, Kevin made many friends across America, creating lasting connections that reached far beyond home. He especially loved telling jokes and making people laugh, a gift that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Kevin is survived by his father, Thomas Balser; his mother, Tearinee Balser; his brother, Christian (Christopher) Balser; his sister, Mariska Shrader; his grandfather, Kirby Shrader; and his grandmothers, Pam (Rick) Osborne and Mary Balser. He also leaves behind many aunts and uncles who will continue to cherish his memory and the happiness he brought into their lives.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Balser.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Kevin’s life, though far too short, was filled with creativity, humor, friendship, and love. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his friends across the country, and all who had the privilege of sharing in his laughter.
