The City of Greensburg Board of Aviation Meeting was on held on October 3, 2024, at 6 pm.
The meeting began with the approval of the meeting agenda and approval of the September 5, 2024, meeting minutes. The board also approved the Financial Report with a total balance of $624,403.44.
John Feister, BF&S provided an update on the construction at the airport. John stated that the apron project documents have been reviewed and completed. There was also a change to the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) concerning the language within the document. He also stated that the Capital Improvement Plan is due December 1st. John stated that this is unchanged from the 2024 plan. John updated the board to let him know that the Fiscal Year 2025 & 2026 state and local share will be reduced from 5% to 2.5%.
Jerry Scheidler, Airport Manager stated that he is working on maintenance on a vacant unit before it can be rented. He plans that this will just take a short amount of time to complete the maintenance. He states that it is business as usual at the airport. He has no updates concerning the garage door opener.
The board approved the payment of bills.
