City of Greensburg BZA Meeting & Plan Commission Meeting

The City of Greensburg Board of Zoning Appeals met on May 8, 2024, at 7 pm. 

The Board of Zoning Appeals opened the public hearing to allow public comment for the variance for partial relief from the hard surface parking lot for Hoosier Sheds, 421 & SR3 bypass. With no public comment, the public hearing was closed. 

The meeting began with the approval of the March 5, 2024 meeting minutes. 

Sarah Hamer, Building Commissioner, spoke to the board and requested a variance for partial relief from the hard surface parking lot for Hoosier Sheds located at 421 & SR3 bypass.  She stated that the owner will be installing an asphalt entrance up to the office and will have parking spaces including a handicapped parking space. The board approved this request.

The meeting was adjourned. 

The City of Greensburg Planning Commission met on May 8, 2024, at 7:16 pm.

The Plan Commission meeting began with a public hearing to allow public comment for the approval of the primary plat for Liberty Lakes Subdivision. With no public comment, the public hearing was closed. 

The meeting began with the approval of the April 2, 2024 meeting minutes. 

The Planning Commission approved the Liberty Developments LLC, Primary Plat for Liberty Lakes Subdivision just north of Veterans Way. This property will have 103 single-family homes constructed. The builder was in attendance and said that he expects the building to begin in the next few months to begin building in September.
