The Decatur County Area Plan Commission met on Wednesday.
Maurice & Wendy Bohman requested to “vacate” the McCamment Subdivision Plat and to “rezone” approx. 10 acres of the 44.4303 acres from an A-1/A-2 zoning classification to a B-2 zoning classification to build a Wedding Venue (event center). The Bohmans requested that the rezone be tabled until next months meeting. This was approved. The vacation of the McCamment Subdivision Platt within petition 2022-19 was approved.
Wayne Kirtman requested to Rezone” approx. 2.99 acres out of 10.13 acres from an A-1 to an A-2 zoning classification for construction of a single family detached dwelling. This meets all requirements. The property is owned by the petitioner in Greensburg, Clay Township. Petition 2022-22 was approved.
