BZA Petition 2026- 6 was approved. Chadd Mazac requested a “Special Exception” as provided in Decatur
County Zoning Ordinance Section 925 (8) to build a mothers-in-law quarters. The property is owned by
Chadd Mazac and is located at 6916 N Co Rd 400 E, Greensburg in Fugit Township.

BZA Petition 2026- 7 was approved. William Brewer requested a “Variance” as provided in Decatur County
Zoning Ordinance Section 945 to reduce the north and east property lines setbacks from 30’ to 7’. The
property is owned by Westport Area Business Association and is located at 219 E Main St, Westport, in
Sand Creek Township.

APC Petition 2026-7 was approved. Bill Wilmer was approved to Subdivide 30 acres out of 41.9 acres and
Subdivide 4.6 acres out of 73.00 acres and Rezone 2.99 acres from A-1 zoning classification to an A-2
zoning classification to build a single family detached dwelling. This request falls under Decatur County
Ordinance Section Number #915 & 920(7). The property is owned by Martha & Ian Johnson and is
located just West of 9283 W CR 50 N, Greensburg in Clay Township.

APC Petition 2026-8 was approved. Aaron & Kristen Ogle was petitioning to subdivide 4.152 acres out of 173.59 and rezone 2.99 acres from A-1 zoning classification to an A-2 zoning classification to build a single family detached dwelling. This request falls under Decatur County Ordinance Section Number #915 & 920(7). The property is owned by Stephanie Ogle and is located just behind 4965 S CR 60 SW,
Greensburg in Marion Township.

APC Petition 2026-9 was approved. Rob & Rachel Mirick was petitioning to rezone 2.99 acres out of 6.87 acres and rezone from A-1 zoning classification to an A-2 zoning classification to build a single family detached dwelling. This request falls under Decatur County Ordinance Section Number #915 & 920(7). The property is owned by the petitioners and is located across from 4952 S CR 480 E Greensburg in Marion Township.

The commission members held their Decatur County Revitalization project show cause hearings.
R2026-8 – Keith Jackson- No one was in attendance and the commission voted to move this case to litigation.
R2026-9 – James & Bonnie Smith- No one was in attendance and the commission voted to move this case to litigation.
R2026-10 – John Huegel- No one was in attendance and the commission voted to move this case to litigation.
R2026-12 – David Isreal & Juston Isreal- Were in attendance and received a 30 day extension for clean-up.
R2026-13 – Land Trust, 620 N- Were in attendance and received a 30 day extension for clean-up.
R2026-14 – Land Trust-White Oak Hill- Were in attendance and received a 30 day extension for clean-up.
R2026-15 – David Moore & Diane Miller- Were in attendance and received a 30 day extension for clean-up.
