Fatal Accident in Decatur County

19-year old Nicholas Christianson died as a result of injuries in that early Sunday morning accident. Decatur County Coroner Doug Banks told WTRE news that he died of blunt force trauma. Banks said that the accident occurred on County Road 400 between Northeast 80 and 600 East. Banks said that he lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole. Decatur County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the scene shortly before 1:30 Sunday morning.
