The Greensburg Water Board met on Tuesday.
This month’s employee recognition went to Greg Kelso. Kelso has been an employee of the city since 1999 and is a backhoe operator. He is one of 4 full time outside guys that take care of the entire district. They thank him for all that he brings and for being an asset to the city. Kelso’s favorite part of the job is the people he works with.
The board approved the sale of an old scrap air compressor for $500.
There were 3 lift quotes presented to the board. This is for the field op building. The lifts that quotes were received for can only lift 18,000 lbs and the cheapest is not a hydraulic but an air lift, which they are not familiar with. This was tabled for further research.
