Congresswoman Erin Houchin (R-Ind.-09) will visit all 18 counties in the Ninth District during her first August work period. “Congress has had a productive first half of the year in Washington, but now I’m happy to spend the next six weeks in the district connecting with constituents. During my first August work period, I have made it my priority to visit every single county in the district to talk to farmers, business owners, employees, local leaders and community members to hear first-hand how we can be most helpful in our service,” said Congresswoman Houchin. Houchin kicked off the 18-county tour by visiting the first state capital at the Corydon Capitol building in Corydon, Indiana. The site just re-acquired it and this was its first time back in 200 years. |
