From Decatur County Sheriff Bill Meyerrose
On Saturday, August 10. 2024 at approximately 2:02 PM, Decatur County Dispatch
received a report of a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. The crash
occurred on St. Rd. 3 and County Road 560 N.
The motorcycle was driven by Christian C. Arvin of Frankton, IN and the passenger
vehicle was being driven by Titus A. Bowling of Greensburg, IN. The motorcycle was
traveling northbound on St. Rd. 3 and the passenger vehicle was westbound on County
Road 560 N.
The driver of the passenger vehicle stated he stopped at the intersection of St. Rd. 3 and
County Road 560 N. and upon not seeing any other vehicles, proceeded to turn left
(south) onto St. Rd. 3. The front of the passenger vehicle then struck the right side of the
motorcycle
Arvin was transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis by Lifeline Helicopter.
