Max Buening was the top scorer for Pirates with 19 points, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
Trailing 10-2, Jennings Co. 8th Panthers went on a 10-point run to take the lead.
The fourth quarter was the best for Pirates, as they outscored Jennings Co. 8th Panthers 13-9.
Pirates scored at will in the paint. They went 12-22 on twos. Matthew Fields knocked down two shots from beyond the arc for Pirates. Matthew Fields collected six boards to lead Pirates on the glass. Also contributing for Pirates were Matthew Fields (12 points), Brennan Noah (3 points), Sam Crowell (3 points), Mason Herpel (2 points), and Colt Mccalvin (2 points).
