The Greensburg JH Cross Country Teams traveled to Waldron Tuesday night to compete in the Mohawk Invitational. The Lady Pirates were once again victorious and crowned the 2024 Champions defeating 13 other teams while the Boys Team placed 5th out of 14 schools.
Leading the Ladies in the championship was a solid 3 pack of Madeline Risher, Eleanor Davis, and Maria Scholle earning 5th, 6th, and 7th place out of 109 total competitors. Other top awards winners included Lulu Webb with 11th and Hadley Davis with 21st. All the Ladies ran career best times with Kate McNulty improving the most by dropping over a minute from her previous best and running under 14 minutes for the first time in her career! Risher, E Davis, Scholle, Webb, H Davis, and McNulty all ran State Qualifying times.

Jackson Tekulve led the Pirates with an 8th place finish out of 126 competitors. Other top award winning Greensburg boys included Jack Gindling in 14th, Oliver Corya in 15th and Kason Bedel in 23rd place. Tekulve, Gindling, Corya, and Bedel all ran State Qualifying times. Almost all the gentlemen ran career best times with Luke Harris and Miles Gill dropping the most time and both improving by over a minute!
