Greensburg boys soccer hosted the Jac-Cen-Del Eagles and fell 4-2.
Greensburg struggled to maintain possession in the game’s first 10
minutes leading to multiple scoring chances for the Eagles, one of
which found the back of the net. Jac-Cen-Del continued their attack
throughout the first half, netting 3 more goals to bring the halftime
lead to 4-0. Greensburg played a much more competitive second half
which saw Cy Miller net 2 goals, assisted by Hunter Springmeyer and
Ethan Smith, respectively. The Pirate defense was able to complete a
second half shut out, their second in two games, but it was too little
too late as the Pirates fell to the visiting Eagles. The loss moves
Greensburg to 2-4-1 on the season.
