North Decatur Cross Country competed this past Saturday at the annual Jac-Cen-Del Invitational with another strong showing as a team and individual accomplishments.
The Lady Chargers were once again led by Junior Rileigh Hash with a 4th place finish with a new PR in a time of 23:32. Also finishing in the top 20 were Emily Baldwin and Norah Amberger. Freshman Makayla Tebbe and Senior Emerson Gunn both ran solid races for the Chargers crossing the finish line in 22nd and 23rd respectively to help secure a 4th place finish for the team.
Harper Gunn continued his strong running by earning meet medalist and overall individual champion. He was followed by Fletcher Hash in 14th place. Junior Clayton Ruf and Declan Kellems both had strong runs as did Logan Summey and Elliott Barber who ran a PR on the day.
The Chargers return to action on Tuesday as they host the Decatur County Championship at North Branch Golf Course.
