North Decatur JV Chargers cruised to an easy victory over Jac Cen Del 21-2 on Tuesday.
North Decatur fired up the offense in the first inning. The Chargers scored two runs when Sydney Rohls singled.
North Decatur Chargers notched seven runs in the third inning. Blanca Akba, Elizabeth Meister, Mia Stier, and Rohls all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Meister took the win for the JV Chargers. The righty went four innings, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out four.
Cullen took the loss for Jac Cen Del. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing 23 hits and 21 runs while striking out three.
North Decatur collected 23 hits. Rohls, Meister, Jo Whitaker, Shelby Zapfe, Kara Lowe, Kendall Hostkoetter, Stier, Katie Gearhart, and Akba all collected multiple hits for the Chargers. Zapfe, Whitaker, Meister, and Rohls each managed three hits to lead the Chargers.
Cullen led Jac Cen Del with one hit in two at bats. Jac Cen Del was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Moorman had the most chances in the field with four.
