| The Lady Chargers traveled to East Central Wednesday night to compete in the IHSAA Sectional 24. Madi Allen placed 2nd in the 300 meter low hurdles with a PR time of 48.18 qualifying her for Regionals on Tuesday, May 21st at Shelbyville High School. Allen also placed 5th in high jump and 6th in long jump with a PR jump of 16′ .25”. Senior Ella Kunz placed 4th in shot put with a PR throw of 35’1”. Kunz also placed 8th in discus. Ava Luckoski made it to finals in the 100 meter dash and placed 7th. Sarah Moeller made it to finals in the 100 meter hurdles and placed 7th. Moeller also placed 8th in high jump. The Lady Chargers 4×1 team placed 5th with a PR time of 54.11. The 4×1 team consisted of Madi Allen, Mary Stier, Sarah Moeller, and Ava Luckoski. There were a lot of Personal Records made at Sectionals this season. Ellie Johnson PR’d in the 1600 meter runw with a time of 6:33.36. Mallory Dehaven PR’d in both the 800 meter dash with a time of 3:12.92 and the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:54.80. Layal Fellows PR’d in both the 200 meter dash with a time of 30.2 and the long jump with a jump of 12’10.5”. Emerson Gunn PR’d in the 3200 meter run with a time of 15:10.55. Ava Lecher PR’d in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:10.50. Lauren Miller PR’d in the 3200 meter run with a time of 16:25.72. Last but not least Anna Mauer PR’d in discus with a throw of 75’4”. |
