The Greensburg Pirates battled the Batesville Bulldogs in round one of the South Dearborn sectional. Slow moving first quarter had the Bulldogs leading 15-6. While the Pirates scored ten points in the second quarter it wasn’t enough to take the lead going into halftime. Bulldogs 26 Pirates 16 at the half. The third quarter had the Pirates coming back with in four but Batesville was able to dominate the rest of the quarter 38-29. Greensburg battled in the fourth but Batesville was determined to keep the lead. Batesville defeated Greensburg 58-44. Batesville advances to round two of the South Dearborn Sectional taking on Jennings County on March 7.
