Ann Alverson, 68, of Greensburg, passed away on January 15, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, IN.  She was born on July 24, 1953 in Vincennes, Indiana to the late John and Liz Hennon.

Ann is survived by her husband Terry of Greensburg, daughter Beth Alverson (Loren) Barstow of Greensburg, son Adrian (Jenny) Alverson of Nashville, TN, brothers Dave (Lynda) Hennon of La Canada, CA and Mike (Lynne) Hennon of South Charleston, SC, her grandchildren; Tara Alverson, Max Alverson, Lena Alverson, Evelyn Barstow and several loving nieces and nephews.

She graduated from St. Rose Academy High School in Vincennes, Indiana in 1971.  She and Terry were married on November 29, 1971.

She was employed by KB Specialty Foods Co. in Greensburg for over 40 years as a lab technician before retiring several years ago. She was a dedicated volunteer with Meals on Wheels in Greensburg.

Over the years, she inspired many people with her commitment to weight loss.  She enjoyed going dancing with Terry, playing euchre and board games with family, going on vacations to the beach, took pride in her beautiful flowers and helped out at the Greensburg Country Club.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was a dependable and extremely hard worker.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother and friend with a huge heart.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her family.  Her pleasant personality and smile were contagious to everyone she met.  She was selfless, kind, thoughtful and always put others first.  She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Redd officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
