Dylan Brock House, 31, of Indianapolis, formerly of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on July 26, 2026. Born on February 20, 1995, in Greenfield, Indiana, Dylan was the first born son of Stacy Kramer.
He graduated from North Decatur High School in 2013 before proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 2014 to 2017. During his military service, he was deployed to Iraq for nine months and served with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, New York, Platoon A Co 2-22.
Following his military service, Dylan worked in private security, providing security for the Las Vegas Raiders and UFC events. He carried the same dedication and professionalism into his career that he demonstrated while serving his country.
Dylan was larger than life. Outgoing and charismatic, he had a way of making every gathering more memorable and was often the life of the party. His big personality, infectious smile, and ability to bring people together left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Dylan struggled with his mental health but even with all his faults, he loved his family and cherished every moment he spent with them. He was a proud father who adored his children, and they were the center of his world. He also loved spending time with friends, attending live music and EDM shows, and cheering on his favorite team the Michigan Wolverines. His adventurous spirit, sense of humor, and witty sarcasm with those he loved will be deeply missed.
Dylan’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, fellow soldiers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Survived by his sons, Gavin Alexander House and Koen Brock House; parents, Stacy and Greg Beaver; brother, Corbyn House; sister, Kierstyn (Blake McConnell) House; stepbrothers, Kevin (Haley Lane) Beaver, Jude Beaver and Reece Beaver; uncle, Dudley (Heidi) Jones. He was preceded in death by his sister, Madison Crawley; nana, Cathy Hankins; uncle, Scott Southerland.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home Monday, August 3, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Rev. Jerran Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at the East Hill Cemetery in Rushville, Indiana with military honors at the graveside. After the burial, the family will continue celebrating Dylan at the Eagles in Greensburg.
