Frances F. Lewis, 81, of Greensburg, passed away at 7:20 a.m. on Monday, April
17, 2023, at Morning Breeze in Greensburg. She was born on July 4, 1941, in
Decatur County, the daughter of Ambrose and Cynthia Mae (Furnish) Roberts. She
retired from K-B Foods in 2003 after 30 years of service and had worked at the
Decatur County Sheriff Department as a cook. Frances enjoyed crocheting, working
in her yard and flowers, going to the Derby Dinner Theatre and game nights with
her lady friends. She married Paul Lewis on July 4, 1960, in Decatur County and
her preceded her in death on March 17, 2008. Survivors include her daughters,
Suzie (Bob) Studler of Greensburg, Cindy (Woody) Stotsenburg of Westport and Kim
Butts of Evansville; her brothers, Nelson (Darlene) Roberts and Danny Roberts
both of Burney and Dale Roberts of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Jenny
(Michael) Bruner, Ashley (Michael) Massey, Sarah Degler, Sam (Sydney) Studler,
Mitch Taylor, Matthew Taylor, Megan Taylor, Brad Lewis & Nathan (Lindsey) Lewis;
17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by
her parents; husband, Paul Lewis; son, Mark A. Lewis; sisters, Patsy Woolard and
Alice Bokelman and brother, Paul Roberts. The funeral service will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in
Westport with Rev. Tony Augsburger officiating. Burial will follow at the
Westport Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023,
from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences can be
