Jameson W. Friend, 33, of Greensburg, passed away unexpectedly in Shelbyville on
Friday May 15, 2026. He was born on August 9, 1992, in Greensburg, the son of
Brian Friend and Suzette Williams. He was a lifelong resident of Decatur County,
attending both North and South Decatur High Schools. Jameson loved being
outside; whether he was tinkering around on a project or out in the woods
hunting. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, but most of all he loved
being with his babies. He is survived by his parents, his companion, Emilee
Keith, his daughters; Lillyanna Friend, JoAn Friend, and Ellinor Friend, all of
Greensburg. His sisters, Kasandra Friend of Greensburg, Jessica Foust of
Rushville, and Kelsey Williams of Rushville. His brothers, Kyle Friend, Lyle
Friend, Josiah Jajuga, Jacob Jajuga all of Greensburg, and Matthew Williams of
Rushville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral services will
be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in
Westport with Jerry Friend officiating. Burial will follow at Southpark Cemetery
in Greensburg. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from
11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
