Larry Gene Stump, Sr., 77, of Westport, passed away at 1:10 p.m. on Sunday,
July 9, 2023, at his residence. He was born on July 21, 1945, in Lebanon,
Pennsylvania, the son of Burnette Lee and Lucille E. (Lightner) Stump. He was
raised in Pennsylvania and Virginia. He was a member of the Moonshine Bible
Church in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. Larry enjoyed Amateur radio, CB radio,
tennis, hiking, and bike riding. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in
Korea during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include his daughters, Renee (Florimond)
Munar of California and Rhonda Stump of Texas; his son, Larry G. (Marcy A.)
Stump, Jr. of Westport, Indiana; his eight grandchildren and his seven great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger Stump,
Jim Stump, and Ronnie Stump. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m.
on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Mt. Aerie Cemetery in Letts with military
graveside rites. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hope 2 or Gideon
