Linda Sue Grobauskas passed away September 28, 2023 at OSF St Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois. Her sons Chris and David were by her side.
Linda was born October 2, 1948 in Stanford, Kentucky.
She graduated from the high school in Sandusky, Indiana and attended Indiana University.
At college she earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and her Masters of Education. There she met her husband Joe.
She was retired from teaching Special Education at South Decatur Elementary School. She greatly enjoyed working with students, and was affectionately called “Mrs. G.” by students and staff.
Her faith was very important to her. With her family she attended the Methodist Church in Sandusky, and taught Sunday School and vacation bible school.
Linda is survived by her sons Christopher (Beth) and David Grobauskas, grandsons Dominic and Sebastian Grobauskas, brother Rolla (Sandi) Hendrickson, nieces Aimee Johnson, Kristi Hendrickson, Jennifer Duncan and December Hendrickson, and nephew Nathaniel Hendrickson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, brother Michael Hendrickson and parents Christine and Rolla Hendrickson.
A graveside service open to anyone who would like to attend will be held Saturday October 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, Indiana.
