Phyllis R. Wren, 79, of Westport, passed away at 7:51 P.M. on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital. She was born on January 31, 1942 in
West Baden Springs, Indiana the daughter of James M. & Grace (Hickerson) Austin. She had been a resident of Westport the past 40 years. Phyllis enjoyed collecting dolls. She married William T. Wren on August 16, 1959 and he survives. Other survivors include her children, Connie (Joe) Holly of Pleasanton, Texas and William Allen Wren of Westport; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 19 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
